Valente is a storyteller in every sense of the word.
He tells his stories through images and sounds and takes his viewer/listeners on a journey, either to make them laugh, dance, sing, or even buy a product. For the past twenty years, he has worked on a variety of feature films, as well as TV commercials, because he believes that film is a language of which the grammar remains the same, and it’s the viewer’s perception of value and art that changes. He is comfortable wearing either cap (or fedora, whichever) of an editor, graphic designer, D.O.P, director and producer.
Valente has worked on top-end TV and cinema commercials, and has recently completed his first feature film “FATHER” as well as three other TV films for KykNet, one of which he co-wrote and directed for the acclaimed KykNet Silwerskermfees called “’n Liefdeslobotomie”.
He currently holds the position as H.O.D Production (Director/Producer) at The Content Mint.
