With over 10 years experience in Culture Marketing in South Africa; Michael is the grey hair in the studio. Literally. Having developed his craft at Levi’s® and Red Bull; Michael left the comfort of corporate to start ANDPEOPLE. Possessing a love for subculture and an aversion to institution, the last 10 years have been spent promoting the idea that the relationship between brands and culture can be both harmonious and sustainable. Through the years, Michael has built award winning music programs for Levi’s® and managed and developed national culture and communication strategies for Red Bull and adidas Originals. This experience has ensured a strong network of South Africa’s best creatives, artists and collaborators and regular presence at music festivals.
