CEO – Business and Arts South Africa

She has one of those “where have I heard it before” voices. The answer is, quite simply, pretty much everywhere.

Michelle Constant has worked in radio and TV for nearly 2 decades. She has worked with radio stations 5fm, Jacaranda, Radio 2000 and SAFM, and various projects in television and print over the years. Her passion for the arts, culture, music and news saw her taking the position of CEO at Business and Arts South Africa (BASA).

Michelle’s work at BASA has seen her present papers at the World Economic Forum on Arts and Culture in New Orleans, MIDEM in Cannes, the Cultural Diplomacy Conference in Spain, the African Creative Economies (ACE) Conference in Dakar, Senegal and most recently, UNESCO, Paris.

The Arts and Culture Trust have named her Arts Journalist of the Year, and she was also a finalist for a Mondi Award for her writing. She has MC’d for a variety of events, and has been a judge for the SAMA’s for the last 10 years.

We’d say this lady knows her stuff.
