Like tequila on the last night of Oppikoppi, the amount of cat videos on the Internet, or the extent of Hindu deities, the talents in this guy’s arsenal are endless.

Louis Minnaar is a director, animator, designer, illustrator, musician and all-round artist from Pretoria. After completing a degree in Visual Communication in 2009, he founded his own company LOUIS MINNAAR CREATIVE VISUAL DESIGN in 2010 and has been producing work, often in collaboration with other industry professionals, for brands such as Nokia, Hyundai, Absa, and working with agencies such as Ogilvy, Jupiter Drawing Room and Trigger Isobar ever since. He is also the brain behind the music videos of many of South Africa’s top musical acts.

Apart from being a visual magician, he is also a member of Afrikaans electro-rap band Bittereinder (ah, didn’t recognise him without the wildebeesbuffelkoeibokhondokapizebra headgear, did you?), as well as a musical project called MiNNAAR with his opera-singer-sister, Magdalene.

His projects make him an expert in time management, winning staring contests with his computer, and Adobe shortcuts. He may or may not steal your pencil.
